Feel like I'm back peddaling! :(

I was on such a fantastic pace! Did I overdo it?? On Monday I only did 20 minutes whereas last friday I did 24:14. Today, I was only able to manage 16 minutes total, with 8 minutes of walking mixed in. I do consider 2 things to be contributors to this....I have a bum back right now (upper back) and it was about 110% humidity out there. I was sweating by the end of my warm up WALK! I know I'll be sidelined for a bit until my back gets better, but seriously....I can't have peaked already! I have a 5K in 3 weeks! UGH!! :(

    I would take it easy with this heat for sure and let your back rest for a few days. Don't push yourself to run too fast or too hard...if you're hurting during the beginning, you're probably pushing too hard. Feel better soon and good luck with the 5K!

    I would blame the heat! PLEASE take it easy it it. This weather you'll need Gatorade in versus water.

    Yeah, the heat is probably affecting you more than you think. I myself don't normally get bothered by the heat, I love the heat, want to move from OH to FL, but the last week and a half has been murder. It's been 104 IN OHIO, that's damn hot!

    I simply cannot run in this heat. I walk what I can, and yes Im repeating W1D3 over and over and over and over and over...... until the heat settles down and I get my breathing under control.
