Happy 4th of July! Don't skip your run because it's a holiday, you'll want those extra calories for the BBQs :-)

I got my W6D2 in!!

I ran yesterday so today is a rest, but no BBQ food to temp me so I'm all good. I WISH I could run today, but I don't want to overdo it!

Me too but the park I run it is the one hosting the fireworks and people were out getting seats already(7:30 am for 9pm fireworks! Crazy!!) So I think some of the traffic was them walking.

I did w3d1 this morning. It was great to get out while it was cool and the air isn't filled with smoke from the fireworks. I saw quite a few other runners too, even though I slept in and went later that usual.

    Get out there everyone!

I did wk8d1 this morning. I ran at 7 am and it was sweltering. I saw a lot more people but only 2 young high school kids were running. Everyone else was walking. I sweatted terribly and I felt disgusting.

Funny thing happened yesterday. I was on my extra run, sweating and red faced. Someone yelled out of their car "Hot Momma!" i thought it was a complement until I caught a glimpse of myself. I actually look like a HOT potato sack running. I laughed at myself thinking I was getting a complement. Ya had to be there.

I was out there too! It wasn't a great run, but I ran! Felt like I needed a knife with me to cut through the humidity!
