I started this about 4 weeks ago following EMTLW.
I am 5'9inches
CW 237
BF 40%
work out 4-5 times a week
Per the calculations my BMR is 1868
TDEE is 2895
TDEE - 15% is 2461
not that I mind eating because I love it but .this seems like a lot. I read other forums that said slight weight gain is normally during the metabolize reset and I have only gained 2-3lbs. My question is after the reset when does one start to notice a change with the scale?? I want to be a healthy weight and start my family next year but want to lose about 40-50 lbs first.
I don't want fads or pills or things like that but my self esteem could really use seeing a positive change in my scale number.
Any positive thoughts or experiences would be great.

Hello,
Trust me I know it seems high. I went from eating 1200 calories a day to 3100 I gained about 2-3 lbs at the begininng, then after two weeks or so lost that, then lost more. I went up to 297 and am now down to 282.4
