How much for the cut?

I am wondering whether I should be doing a 10% or 15% cut when I start my cut (after a reset). I want to lose 25 pounds....so just wondering is 15% cut where i want to be?

I would say 15% to start and then after you lose 5-10lbs I would drop down to 10%.

I don't know how many calories that converts to, but you might want to read this article I found. It was a bit of research done on gymnasts at University of Georgia 500 v. 300 calorie cut:

That article is interesting....my maintenance is 2773....so 10% cut is 277 calories less and 15% cut is 415.5 calories. Food for thought

I plan on doing a 10% cut, if I dont see the results I want I can always cut another 5%. I also have about 25 lbs to lose.

I read in one of the stickies (or heard in one of the videos) that 300 cal deficit is the "sweet spot" for weight loss especially as you get closer to goal. Hope that helps!
