Finishing up

Congrats to the graduates!

Is anyone else still working on finishing this up? I'm on the last day of week 6 still and was wondering if others are also trying to finish or if the group completely disbanded? (is that a real word?)

I'm still trying to finish up as well. I finished week 7 today and will start week 8 on monday. I plan to keep updating the spreadsheet. Good luck with the rest of your c25k!

I just finished week 9 yesterday. I've been doing it on the treadmill though so now my goal is to take it outside.
  • I am working on finishing up too, although my c25k program is only 8 weeks long - technically, I am finished my program, but I do plan to finish the program that Pete started. I had a period of time right in the middle of week 8 in which my knees were telling me to stop running (so I did)!! My knees are doing ok now, and yesterday, I did run for 30 minutes, although my pace is so slow that I am not running a full 5k yet. I am jogging a 12:00 mile so if I kept up the pace throughout the 5K, it would take me 36:00 (and I am not happy with that, but I am very pleased that I am running)!! Hope others are able to finish too...I will also continue to update the spreadsheet. I wonder if we could encourage Pete to continue the group...weekly topics? Hm, Pete...are you listening? We miss you!!

It would be great to keep the group going. I'm sure even if they have completed the program there are probably a lot of people still working on speed, etc. Good to know I'm not the only one still out here...

I took off 2 weeks (doctor's order); I started back it Monday and restarted with week 6. (I kind of randomly picked it.) I didn't do tonight but will run tomorrow.

I would like to keep the group going also!

Well i just did week 7 day 1 last night. You aren't far behind. And I didn't even take a week off... And I didn't repeat any yet either. Sometimes I only do 2 days a week though... haha - But at least we are still trying!

Today was my day to run - I didn't. My stomach cramping started again today - two days after running. I don't know if it is because of running or not. So tonight I power walked for 2 miles. Arms pumping, butt tucked up, abs tucked in as fast as I could - hey it's something right? :ohwell:

I'm still on week 8, so I still have to finish this week until I'm done. My program ends at the end of 8 but this program has made a runner out of me! I'm still slow, but I can run for a half hour straight for the first time in my life and that's so encouraging. :)

I stopped for awhile due to a personal issue but would love to start back. I'm hoping I can start back on week 6.
