It does seem like a big jump from 1-2 to 3-4. Just do you best and concentrate on form. Each time you do it you will get stronger. For the poses where she has you balance on one foot, it helps me to not look at the TV and find a spot on the floor to stare at. Otherwise I lose my balance!0

Your about a week ahead of me . How did you find your first go at work out 3?
Im looking forwards to phase 2 as apparently her cardio is 30 second drills.....I hate the running man but at 30 sec I might be able to put up with this sort of stuff.0 -
Good luck!
I'm not coordinated (or very fit) and found myself frustrated at the big leap to such a faster pace from 1/2 to 3/4 dvds. Hubby is working the program alongside me and he could manage 3/4 transition easily. He's slightly out of shape, but was an athlete in college so more coordinated and capable than I am. I, however, was falling all over and couldn't do half of the reps. I dropped back to workouts 1 and 2 for another week or so to make sure I have the right foundation before moving forward with 3 & 4. I figure it is better than getting injured or so frustrated that I just quit. I'll break out 3 and 4 again in a few days0 -
Good luck and I'm glad your here with us.You can do it :happy:0

I've now completed workouts 3 & 4. I hated 3 but 4 was ok. The planks and floor work in 3 are killers. Glad I have a slight break with Cardio 1 tomorrow:-) Hopefully I will get stronger with the next round of 3&4 on Thursday and Friday. I love this challenge...will keep pushing myself and modifying as needed. Thanks for everyone's advice and encouragement.0

Workouts 3 & 4 are much easier the 2nd week you do them. I try and push myself a little harder every time I redo a workout. Just pace yourself, pause when you need to and focus on your form. You'll do great0

I'm also on workouts 3 and 4 and my legs were/are so sore from the lunges and dead lifts  , but I'm still enjoying the program. Excited about seeing the changes in my body. :flowerforyou:0

Circuit 1 of level three kills me. I feel like for the 1st 10 minutes all I am doing is trying to stand up and not fall over.0

Hey everyone! I'm really excited about JMBR! I just started workouts 3 and 4 this week. I didn't do the first weeks 2x's a day workout plan (the kickstart plan) so I decided to do two workouts a day this week and I have to say, I am exhausted!! I do JMBR in the morning and then I do cardio for an hour in the evening (I go to the gym or do another fitness dvd like p90x). I am so very tired. I've also scaled my eating back to 1200 calories a day. Even though I am exhausted, I feel really good! I have been on a feel good trip all week, and I haven't been hungry. I look forward to doing my workouts, but I just can't wait to finish up. I'm hoping to lose 5 pounds this week and my overall goal is 30 pounds.
So far, workout 3 is much harder than workout 4. I hope I can master both of them before the two weeks are up.
Okay everyone! Good luck!0 -
I feel that workout #3 is harder than workout #4. I did WO 1&2 for 3 weeks and doing the same with WO 3&4.0

I totally agree. Workout 3 is definitely harder for me. I had already decided that if I need an extra week with these workouts I would take it before moving on to the next level. I think I will need that extra week:-)0

So I took a couple weeks off, so I'm getting back into it. Decided to do week 3 over and hopefully no more interruptions0

I am doing workout 3&4 right now, just started my third week of the program yesterday, but I have been doing 3&4 since the second week...I moved on from 1&2 after one week.
I have been able to do everything ok, which is interesting because I didn't think I was in very good shape. I did do Power90 for 60 days until the middle of March, and the 30DS for a few weeks on and off since then...I guess I thought I lost all the strength I had gained, but I guess not everything.
I say all this to encourage everyone that is struggling...I started my first true exercise program ever in November 2011...JM 30DS. I could hardly finish the first day!! It was SOOOO hard for me. I never thought I would get stronger, I was 3 months postpartum after baby #5, overweight, and depressed with my husband deployed. But I just kept pushing play (and even when I would miss a day or two, keep getting back to it). I guess somewhere along the way I did get stronger, mentally and physically! I have so far to go, but it is encouraging to look back where I was 8 months ago.
Keep doing what you are doing!!0 -
I've decided to do another week of workouts 3 & 4. I not believe I'm ready to move on. The second week was better as most of you said it would be but...I'm not quite there yet. So one more week.0
