New dose = 14 day cycle?!

After my last bloods I slightly lowered my meds from 175/200 mcg alternate days to 150/175 mcg alternate days. I had just finished my period when I did this but within a week of lowering dose I started another period. Do you think this is related?
I have had issues in the past with my levels being off causing irregular bleeding or constant bleeding/spotting so I'm worried it is happening again. My body seems to be so sensitive to any changes in meds as I get older, don't know why. Do you think I should up dose again?
