Confused?

Okay, so I can't decide what to put as my activity level. I am inactive on my days off, but my job Is physical. I am a health care aide and work 12 hour shifts. During my shift I have 1 hour and 45 mins of breaks, and probably another hour to hour and a half of sitting time. The rest of the time I am walking/standing, so between 8 hours and 45 mins or 9 hours 15 mins. I work a two week rotation, so week one I work 2 shifts and week two I work 5 shifts. So what do you think I should put for activity level? I am so lost. I was thinking moderate?

Oh, and hello to all. I have been lurking, reading and logging foods sporadically. Gearing up for this change!

Hi and Welcome to the group

Are you doing any workouts beside your physical job?
I think moderate is for sure a good start

I agree... where you are normally doing this but lets face it: this line of work can get more physical during the day and at random times as well. I used to be one of the three-person Heimlich team members when I went for my long-term-care training....

    Go with Moderate....
