Bad day or in bad shape?

Today was W2 D3 for me. I sucked. There was a stitch in my side, ragged breathing, general clumsiness and plague. (Locusts and dead firstborn, for the curious.)
Usually I drink a lot of water the night before C25K, have a slice of bread before bed (in case there's anything to all the "carboHYDRATE" comments in water retention threads) and down at least a liter of water before I leave the house. This keeps me from feeling like death on the 100 degree days. Today and last night I got thrown off of this routine, but it was only 85 degrees with 90% humidity and I figured I'd be okay. I was very wrong.
So was the feeling of craptacularness a sign that I should spend another day on W2 or was it just me not being careful with the water? How do you tell the difference between a bad day and a sign that you need to do more work before moving on?

I'm sure it's different for everyone, but I feel like I had a slightly similar experience on W4D2. I went late in the morning, around 10AM, and the humidity was high, it was already in the low 90's, and the sun was shining everywhere - no shade. I also forgot to drink my usual two glasses of water before going out for my run. I thought I was going to die by the time I finished.
I think that once you get used a routine, anything different probably throws your body slightly off. If you feel like you need an extra day, repeat D3 and see how you do, but try doing your normal routine and see if that makes a difference. One can never go wrong with a lot of water! (: Hope that was slightly helpful.0 -
Also, because I missed a vital part of the question lol - if you want, you can always try to move forward and see what happens. If you feel bad about it, maybe spend another day where you are. Whatever you're comfortable with, but trying wouldn't hurt you.0

If I look back at my notes (I'm just finishing up week 4), it seems like there is one day a week that I don't feel as good or as confident as the others. Then it evens out again.
I'd push through it and you can always drop back if you need to.0
