Sometimes it is refreshing to take a bit of a break with a "re-opening" date to look forward to. For example, I have been neglecting my diet and exercise and haven't been paying attention to what I've put in my mouth. I wonder why the number on the scale keeps creeping upwards? Weird, right? So I am going to keep track of the crap I put in my mouth starting today through this weekend and I am going to see it on Sunday night. Monday morning, IT'S ON! I will start setting daily goals of both diet and exercise. It is almost exactly a month until school starts so I will set my first goal for one month.

Like a "Grand Re-Opening" of a store right? Maybe a store got new management or their heart wasn't in the original Grand Opening or it wasn't advertised well.

I have been fortunate in that I have been able to treat everyday like that. Since I weigh daily I am constantly aware of my fluctuations and have been able to "reboot" myself when I screw-up. I just hope my attitude doesn't go South.

That's exactly what I'm saying - a fresh start. Looking forward to my fresh start this Monday!
