First week - what did you do with the scales?

Started today, weighed in this morning at 10st and want to lose 10lb.

I don't really come from a LCD background - don't get me wrong, always been trying to stick to a diet, but haven't managed to in a good while! Would say over past few weeks I have been eating over 1,900 a day which is my TDEE-15%.

So to the point of this post - when would you next weigh in, a weeks time, or wait longer?

I have the tendency to freak out if I gain but I appreciate it might form part of this process.
