Books on Emotional Eating

Hi MFP community! I think my biggest challenge in my relationship with food is that I am an emotional eater. When I am sad, happy, insecure, anxious, excited--anything--I turn to food. While the way I eat varies with each emotion-- when I am anxious, for example, I am conscious that I am reaching for food for support and when I am excited it is something that I do with less awareness, enjoying the moment through indulging in sweets of all types--the effect is equally toxic on my physical and emotional health. I want to change my habits and I'd like to start by understanding my emotional eating better. Can anyone recommend books on emotional eating that have helped them, or that they have heard are helpful tools to break this emotional connection with food?

hi, I have the same struggles. A book that really helped me was Feeding the Hungry Heart by geneen roth.
