After doing any of the Walk Away the Pounds Dvds....How do you figure out how many calories you've burned? I recently purchased the 4 Mile Walk DVD, and am enjoying!

Well, you can do it one of three ways...

    1. Get a HRM (heart rate monitor) and find out how many calories you are burning.

    2. I use this site ...http://caloriesburnedwalkinghq.com/ ...it gives you an estimate of calories burned if you don't have a HRM.

    3. Just walk and don't count the calories burned at all. The weight will come off if you eat less & mve more !

Glad you are enjoying the Dvd's. I recently purschased the The Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan and LOVE it ! The 4 Mile dvd is one of faves as well.

I usually use Walking 3.5 mph or the Walking 4.0 mph....I know it's going to be under what the actual cal burned happens to be, but I don't plan to eat those calories back. So, I guess how accurate you want to be depends on if you plan to eat the cals back.

And my copy of the Ultimate 5 Day Walk Plan (along with two others: 5 day slim down - a mile each morning and her burn body fat) arrived yesterday...So, as it was Monday, I did the Monday 3 mile work out with Abs. WOW. Great workout. Looking forward to the Tuesday session, which I believe is 4 miles? Of course, it's supposed to be 95 degrees here today...

Feel free to add me, btw...Just include a note where you saw me

I think I will purchase a heart rate monitor. A friend of mine use a polar f4, I think?
