Being a veteran protein undereater, today was a HUGE victory for me. I had 199g of protein, which is 13g OVER my 30% protein goal. And I did it without the assistance of protein shakes too! Yay for lean meats, cheese, yoghurt, and peanut butter baby!

Very proud of myself :)

Question though - is it recommended that we avoid EXCEEDING our protein goal? Is that detrimental at all?

Awesome job!! And in answer to your question, no, it is not detrimental to exceed your protein requirements. There is no added benefit either though that they have found.
