Cholesterol and thyroid

My cholesterol and thyroid seem to be really linked. In March, when I had bloodwork done, my TSH was 1.23 and my cholesterol was 167 ( HDL 65, Tri 49, LDL 93). This was really good news for me, because it had been up to 230. Last week I had more bloodwork done, and my TSH had gone up to 2.7 ( normal, of course, but higher) and my cholesterol had gone up to 212 ( HDL 61, Tri 90, LDL 133). I was pretty alarmed. I'm not sure if my endo will raise my levoxyl or not because my tsh is in the normal range and so are my t4 and t3.
I take fish oil every day, I do intense cardio/strength training 5 hours a week, I eat fruits and vegetables and avoid fast food and red meat. I don't have a horrible diet, but I am wondering if I can do a bit more on my end to bring it down, or if this is pretty much dependent on my thyroid and thyroid medication.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
