Low carb veggie

Morning fellow low-carbers. I'm new to the group so not sure if this has been asked before.
I'm doing well on a low carb programme.. aiming for under 50g per day. I'm vegetarian though and since I've started logging my intake on MFP I've realised my protein intake is too low.
At the moment for protein I eat cheese, tofu, nuts, soya products but not quorn products cos they aren't particularly low in carbs and expensive for what they are. I was wondering if I could do some sort of protein shake for breakfast? I've read somewhere about protein powders but are they low carb? If so, does anyone recommend one?
I don't really eat breakfast during the week but could manage a shake if that would help my protein intake. If anyone has any recipe ideas for quick protein shakes that would help too.
Thanks x

Well.. I use a particular brand that is extremely low-carb... and the flavors are just INCREDIBLE...
Designer Whey

Im really hooked on the French Vanilla and Chocolate.
Yesterday's protein smoothie for me did involve frozen berries but kept reasonable....
Their website has a permanent coupon that you can print all the time which I absolutely love!!!!0 -
I use Simply Right Vanilla from Sams club and it's 3 g per whole scoop! And tastes great! Here is what I make (but in the evening... for me, it's too sweet for breakfast):
1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder
2-3 oz of heavy whipping cream
1c unsweetened almond milk
13 g of flaxmeal
ice cubes
I love it! The more cream you have, the better it tastes0 -
Oh my, both of those look lush Looks like it'll be easy to up my protein after all! Thanks guys0
