was going to start level 2, but decided to take the off. i've been going at it for almost 2 weeks straight...feeling the effects of not taking a rest day today...probably gonna take a day or two off...but i'm not giving up and plan to continue with everyone..even if i'm a little behind.
  • I did L1D10 (catch up from yesterday) and L2D1 today - wow, I noticed such a difference! And burned about 100 extra calories in L2 compared to L1 (per my HRM). Glad I've been pushing myself with L1 - there's no way I would have been able to do L2 ten days ago! Looking forward to the challenge though. :)

I started Level 2 today- my arms are like lead. I swore an awful lot and sweated even more but I actually feel pretty good having finished. I'm in two minds whether to go back to 3lb weights and ease myself up again though.
I actually didn't find it *too* bad until the last round of cardio. I'm fairly sure I was "gargling my heart" as she put it.

    Keep it up everyone!

Finished Day 11! I still did level 1, because I'm not getting through the whole workout without stopping. I think I'm really close though. On a positive note, I can actually do a few real pushups now! Oh yeah, feeling good!

Day 10 L1 complete! Moving to Level 2 tomorrow and I think I'm ready for it! Even tho my muscles are sore, I barely sweat with Level 1 this morning.

You all are doing fabulous. Wow.

I agree that it's VIP to listen to your body and not overtrain. That means taking rest days, using lighter weights, not changing levels too fast... We are athletes and should approach this effort as athletes would. This is a life change to an athletic lifestyle, no need to burn out.

Keep up the great work! You all are my inspiration.

Did Level 2, Day 1. I went back to 3 pound weights to start. Level 1 properly prepared me for Level 2. I could not have done it without doing level 1. Having said that, I now understand why folks say level 2 shredded some inches. The plank work is no joke and will expose anyone who has a weak upper body and weak core. In other words, ME!! Still, I am sticking with it. It is doable, just challenging.

Happy shredding, everybody! Look forward to reading how everyone's doing.

Day 3 of holidays... Yesterday was a better "food" choice day for me and I didn't have one drink of alcohol!! We didn't hit the gym but did go shopping and did lots of walking which is very easy to do here (Vegas LOL).

Today we hit the gym and did 50 mins mix of cardio/weights and core work (thankfully I brought a workout copy from my trainer. Thank you for the suggestion of looking up the Shred on the Tube, unfortunately I wouldn't feel comfortable doing some of the cardio for the persons under me might think there's an earthquake LOL

Level 1 Day 9 completed today! Feeling sore in my shins due to combining the 30DS with C25K but I just find alternate cardio if I need to during the 30DS. I can make it through a whole set of pushups now, which is rewarding :)

Finished Level 2 day 1 as well. Took a few tiny breaks, but I think I did better at this than my first day of level1, so I'm hoping I'll build up to being able to do it all the way through long before day 10.

Well my stupid alarm did not go off again, but I did do about 15 min of the workout. I'm not going to be home tonight so had to get at least that in. I really need to get that alarm working!!

    I can't believe I haven't taken a rest day yet - yay!

Done with Day 8 (D2L2). Planks are giving me trouble, but maybe a little less than yesterday. I'm going to pick up a yoga mat today, hopefully it will help.

Finished level 1 today, I did it backwards cause I was bored with it. Found it easier that way HA! Level 2 starts tomorrow, oh the dreaded plank. Felt good tonight in yoga when we did plank that I was able to do it just as long as the teacher. This should me level 2 should be easier (HAHAH NOT)
