TDEE, reset, and vacation

Hi all-
So I'm mid-week 6 of eating at reset, exercising 5-6 hours a week.
Next Thursday I am going 'home' (aka, back to where I grew up), for a wedding of a friend from high school and also a 7 mile run (which a couple other ladies here are doing, too! I haven't ran outside in over a month; I'm screwed!!) The race is Saturday, and the wedding is Saturday night (yikes). After that, I'm staying at my parent's for a week, and will probably not come back home home (St. Louis) until August 5th-ish.
Technically, my 8 weeks of reset will be up August 4th, meaning I can start my cut the week I get back. I just don't know what my activity is going to be that week. I don't have gym access there and don't really want to pay $8/day for a guest pass at the gym. Do I still eat my full, 'strenuous activity' level TDEE for that last week of reset even if I don't come anywhere close to meeting those goals??
Also- would it be bad to start my cut AND switch my activity level at the same time? I want to start NROLFW and drop down to the 3-5 hours of activity a week level, but don't want to 'overwhelm' my body.
Thoughts?

I was just dealing with some of these questions myself and came to a few decisions.
Originally I had hoped to use my last week of reset as a full rest week to really give my body the kick it needed to jump into the cut...but then I started a new routine and to do that rest week would have messed up the exercise schedule so I didn't. However, I guess what I'm trying to say is this....
Use your last week of reset as a rest week. Start at full tdee for about 1/2 of it, then drop to full tdee for the new routine schedule you want to start after your last week for the 2nd half of your last week. Then, start your new program when you get back and take your 15% off your new tdee.
Alternatively, you could stay at the already calculated full tdee for your whole rest week, drop to 10% cut at first of the new tdee for the new program when you get back and then lower to 15% the week after that....
I don't think there are any hard/fast rules on it, but I also wanted to avoid my body feeling like it was suddenly being dropped to 20% or 25% cut when in reality it was just an adjustment for exercise. It probably won't be harmful to just drop all at once either but I'm not sure...and these are a couple of other options that I think should be just fine.0 -
I have the exact same question. I too am going on vaca and will drop from a strenuous to sedentary. That is almost 800 calories a day difference. Over a week that can really add up! Am interested to hear responses.0

800 x 7 = 5600/3500 = 1.6 lbs. Is that really a lot? And I am sure on vacation you may not be working about but I can't see just sitting around doing nothing for a week; especially if you are going anywhere.0
