DAYS VS HOURS ACTIVITY LEVEL

When figuring out your activity level….do you go by hours or days per week?

I am currently working out 5 days a week and it adds up to 3 hours a week, slightly under or slightly over….depending.

I work at a desk job. I am just not sure what I should consider my activity level.

Most people fall into the moderate category. This is what I would suggest for you based on the information you gave.

I would go with hours b/c if you were to workout 5 days a week but only for 30 minuteseach time it would add up to 2.5 hours for the week (light activity) but if you did 5 hours 5 days a week of course that would put you at 5 hours (moderate activity) which would bump you up a level....If you only went by days then it would be moderate even if you were only doing the 30 minutes a day which is probably too high...So, personally I would go with hours b/c it seems more accurate and the scooby site goes by hours as well....

I hope that made sense... :)

I also agree w/Sweatpants - Go with moderate activity level..

3.3 hours....that just takes me to moderate. I think maybe I will split the difference between light and moderate??
