Just got back from the most amazing 4 day hike along the Thorsborne Trail (Hinchinbrook Island - Queensland, Australia). If crystal clear waterfalls and waterholes, long strtches of pristine beaches and palm fringed campsites interest you, then this hike is definitely for you. The actual hike isn't all that hard, but the 32kms does take the full 4 days. The going is pretty slow due to ricky tracks, some swamp, and some climbs. The upside is that there are stacks of gorgeous clear swimming holes full of jungle perch...and you get to have this all to yourself. I'll try to uploaded a couple of pics to show you a glimpse of what awaits along the track. Enjoy!
