I'm three days into MFP. I tried the C to 5K program 3 years ago (after having a baby) and only made it to week 5. Since my new baby was born 10 months ago I haven't been able to get out to exercise. I'm hoping being part of a community will help me to make time and get off my butt. I enjoyed running and am planning to do a 5K in November for motivation. I figure I can get through the 8-week program by then!

    I am not the best example of motivating myself. But, with young children at home (mine are grown - mostly :ohwell:), it is imperative that you find a way to take care of yourself. The best gift a father can give his children is to love their mother...their mother will love their father in return. The second best gift a woman can give her children is to take care of herself. I was a stay-at-home mom for 14 year. I would not trade those years for anything...But, I do have a few pounds I would trade away!:flowerforyou:
