I started the NROL4W two years ago, got up to Stage 2 and then stopped. I've restarted the program and I'm looking for advice on how you would go about this.
I plan on doing the NR workout twice a week because I have a TRX session once a week with a trainer. I'm also a runner and am training for a PB in the 5KM distance for a race on October.
So I run 3x's a week, short distances, no more than 5KM at a time, NR twice a week, TRX once a week. Now to my question.
Would you do 3 sets of the NR workouts or just stick to the 2 sets?

Definately no more than 2x with all that. I actually haven't done a bit of extra workouts besides NR's (3x/wk) b/c I wanted to make sure my body got 100% of the benefit from lifting and I wasn't taking any steps back b/c of excessive cardio and not allowing my muscles to repair.
During Stage 1 when you just have 2 sets/workout, you'll probably be okay doing all the extra stuff but as the program goes on, I personally couldn't do the additional workouts even if I did have the time. For instance, last Friday (I'm on Stage 4) I was literally sore in every single area of my body.0
