Ask God for that extra "push"!

Yesterday, Lainey (one of my stepdaughters) and I went for a run at the Harriman High School track. I started out walking the curves and then jogging the straights. Then I alternated between the two. Nearing the end of my run, I was winded and exhausted but I wanted to finish strong!
Right before I started my final lap, I looked up and asked God to give me that push and courage to overcome the voice in my head saying, "Ian stop, stop right now! You can't do it!". God shined down and before I knew it, I was finished with the lap. He blocked out that voice and allowed me to continue on as I needed to.
Whenever you feel like you can't do anymore in whatever it is, ask God to help you do more and bust through the wall!

You are exactly right Ian - I need to stop listening to the wrong voice and focus on the Voice of God that tells me I can all things through Him !!!0
