.............But my dr. put me on a low dose of synthroid 6 weeks ago and yesterday it dawned on me that I have fingernails. Now I know that sounds silly but for years and years I haven't been able to grow any fingernails. And if they did grow they were paper thin, and peeling and breaking and tearing. I have fingernails that extend beyond the end of my fingertips and they are strong....or at least stronger, they don't bend when I push on them.

Now I just wish that wasn't the only change I've seen :( but here's to hoping more improvements follow!

    That's great! I noticed that too when I started taking synthroid. I love it, I feel like I can finally have nice looking nails and paint them too. You will start to see the other changes too, that's a good sign. Just make sure you go back at the 3 month mark to get your levels checked again to make sure the dose is correct.
