3rd day of induction- does it get better?!

I am on my third day of Atkins induction and I am actually doing it right unlike in the past...I feel good except I am so tired I literally had to be dragged out of bed today and now I can hardly keep my eyes open. i've also been extremely grumpy. I feel like I just want to crawl into bed and stay there for the rest of my life. I'm not hungry though, I had to force myself to eat breakfast so I woudln't faint!
Did this happen to any of you? I read somewhere that this tired/grumpy feeling is my body trying to get me to eat carbs before it runs out of glycogen stores and resorts to burning fat which i hope is coming soon! Any thoughts??

Could be the carb (sugar) withdrawal, could also be your electrolyte balance. When your body is excreting the excess water, you also lose electrolytes that need to be replaced. This is why Dr. Atkins advised drinking broth.
Dr. Mike Eades (who co-authored "Protein Power") wrote a great article about this:

Yes, this is normal and will get better. In fact, when you come out of this, you will feel great! Just give it a little time and add the broth as suggested by shar140.0

Yup- this is normal.
The sluggishness/heaviness/lethargy will lift after the first week. My BF says I acted like a monster when beginning LC, but that is sugar withdrawal!!
Stick with it, and it will pass0 -
Thanks everyone! I am making it through my day surprisingly okay after having some broth and caffeine. I know caffeine is a nono but i have to work!0
