I am Linda from Lawrenceville GA. Feel free to friend me.

My dogs are Bonnie (the perfect one) and Lulu.

Bonnie and I are doing the C25K program and just finished W8D1. She is doing amazing! She is a mutt, Border Collie Lab mix from what we can tell.

Lulu runs with me sometimes (when I have more patience). She tends to get distracted and go off in other directions. So, I need to work with her. She is great walker once she gets undistracted!

Wow. I was looking for dog groups and you just started this one. lol.

I don't run, back injuries and all kinds of stuff. However......I walk. I have my own petsitting business.

Putting a leash on your dog and walking out the door is one of the greatest things you can do. It's good mentally and physically. Not to mention the wonderful bonding.

I am 21 years old and from Michigan!

Here is my dog Cola!! She is a german shepherd, golden mix:) She is a year and 5 months old! I got her from the Humane Society when she was just 8 weeks. I love her to death, and she is my best friend. She loves playing ball and Frisbee, and she loves to swim!

I am hoping to train her to run with me! I think she would love it!

Another Linda here, from Belfast in Northern Ireland.

I like to run with Max, my big dog, who is a 5-year old Weimaraner. They say that a tired Weim is a good Weim, so that motivates me to get him out there for some exercise! The weather's been really bad lately, though. We usually run on a few quiet country roads nearby, sometimes on the cycle path by the river (but Max hates cyclists......)

Max's full name is Maxim von Thunder, and his wee sister, Minerva von Thunder, is a black and tan cocker spaniel who will be 1 in August. She's Mini for short (yes, big dog, little dog, Max and Mini  ) I haven't started her on running just yet as she's still young

Love Weiaraners. We originally thought Lulu was one but we have since found out she's a Vizsla. They look close but not very different personalties! Welcome!

Hi, I am Sharon from Ottawa, Ontario. I am the proud Human- Momma of a 7 month old Beagle/Pointer Mix named Casanova. (His name really suits him!)

Casanova is a rescue dog. I started to foster him when he was 8 weeks old. The poor little guy weighed less than 8 pounds, had a herniated umbilicus, hookworm and his paws were infected. He is now a very active and healthy puppy.

We are walking partners and are looking forward to when he is old enough to start running.

I have discovered that walking with Casanova is not only great for my physical health but is great for my mental health as well! He always puts me in a good mood!

I actually don't walk mine very much. The big one, Ladybug, has knee and hip issues but is doing better. The one, Tigger, he likes it but not for long. They do have a big yard and play really hard at home with each other. Luckily I walk other people's dogs. lol

Ladybug has been her one yr and 2 months. A friend found her in the middle of nowhere in really bad shape and very underweight. She was around 4 months old. Now she is a 98.6 lb happy girl. Is a lab mix.

Tigger was adopted from the shelter. I didn't even want to go that day, my dog of 16 yrs had passed recently and I wasn't ready. One of the community service boys said there was a pit puppy in the back. He was going to be put down the day before but for some reason wasn't. All 6 lbs of him were wagging. He turned out to be a pit/greyhound mix.

They are my babies! Tigs is under the desk now and Ladybug is chewing a bone next to him. They are very good dogs, nice enough to share their house and bed with me. lol.

I run with my 10 year old mini poodle, Falcore (The Never Ending Story). I trained him on a chocker chain & he has always been awesome on the lead.

We do three or four 8 - 10 km runs every week.

We get home & I'm absolutely buggered. He still runs to get a ball!!
  • Hello, I have 2 dogs and 2 cats, only one of my dogs walks with me as my other one is too old. Egan is a little terrier X who loves going on walks with me. I am very lucky as I can take her to work with me each day. I am from Melbourne Australia

Hi, I am Tanya from Napa, California. I have a beautiful, 5 y/o Pomeranian and 12 y/o Papillon. I will show pictures later. My pom walks well on a leash but he is hyper alert and just waiting for something to bark at. I really need to find some other dog owners who are chill and will help me train him better. My papillon could care less about other dogs or people but she has to smell EVERYTHING.

Hi there, this is right up my alley.. My name is Kem I am from Oklahoma, but just moved to Nashville, TN. I brought with me my 4 dogs Faith- lab mix, peaches- minature beagle, TT-terrier mix, and Howie- my chiuahuah. I have also recently just gotten a Collie Duke. I ran a rescue in Oklahoma for 5 years so all my animals are rescues. They are the best animals, and I couldn't imagine life without them. Can't wait to get some land and get more dogs, and hopefully get involved here in TN. with some rescue groups.

We go for a long morning walk and a late afternoon walk or to a dog park, we look like a parade coming down the street. I love it. My chi. stays home, he's a biter so I spare my stress and any sweet childs little fingers. They keep me motivated and moving, no time to rest when you got someone scratching at the door saying hey I gotta go do my thing. lol.. A good nights rest has been a thing of the past for years now, and most people think I am crazy, but im just dedicated to making there lives happy and healthy.

Glad to see there are lot's of dog lovers on MFP.
