W3D2 Epic Fail Injury...advice needed!

I was going fine through the first interval of W3, than an ache in my right calf started. Not a normal "Ahhh, muscle fatigue, must power through!" ache. An "owwwww" ache. Then, apparently, as my gait changed to favor my right leg, my left knee started with a sharp, sharp pain around the patella.
I made it through the 3 minutes, but during the walk the pain became too intense and I stopped on the side, stretching out my calf for a few minutes. I continued on, but after walking about 50 meters it became clear I wasn't going to be able to continue with any running.
After a mile of painful limping back to my car, I iced my knee and my calf for a bit. My SO and I needed to go to the store, so we went and I was limping pretty bad. It wasn't until we got home and carried the groceries up the 4 steps to my house that my knee pain became very, very clear. A VERY sharp pain going up and down steps, right where the joint bends.
At the same time, my calf injury feels like it goes all the way through my calf, up behind my knee as well as down to the back of my ankle. I have peroneal tendonitis on that leg, as well, which is acting up right now too.
Any ideas on what to do? I know I'll be resting for a few days for sure, but is this something that warrants a doctor visit?

I'm not completely au fait with the USA healthcare system but I would suspect that as long as you don't already have any major underlying health issues a doctor would advise RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression, and Elevation.
I've had some unbelievable leg pain since starting C25K and have hobbled home on a couple of occasions, unable to run for a few days. Each time I have strapped ice packs around my lower legs, rotating them to cool down my calves, knees, ankles etc. I've also taken a couple of anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen, asprin, naproxen or diclofenac) and put my feet up for a couple of hours. I've also not stretched out to avoid causing any more inflammation and have taken rest days until it has cleared up. I also suspect some of the pain is compounded by cramp, so I've now got electrolyte tablets (Nuun or Zero - you can buy online) that I mix with water to drink when I get home and also have a banana before or after for the potassium. I'm really aware that many of the muscles I use for running haven't had much of a workout before and aches and pains are inevitable as your body adapts and gets stronger.
If the pain is extreme, gets worse, you have other health problems or it lasts more than a day, then go see your doctor. But they may well just advise what I have said. If a visit to your doctor is free then it might be worth getting advice, but if you have to pay for it perhaps see if self care works first.0
