training for my first half in November

I've registered for my first half marathon! I'm going to be doing Disney Wine & Dine on November 10th!
I'm going to start serious training when I get back from my honeymoon (so starting August 13th). Right now I'm leaning toward Jeff Galloway training. Since it's a Disney race I know I will be stopping for pictures, etc and since it's my first half, I think Galloway would be a good way to go just to get to whole experience under my belt. I will worry about running an entire half in the future races.
I would like to finish under 2:30 hours. I did a 15K in March and my time was 1:50.
I do have a stupid question though about his plan though. If my goal pace is around 11 min/mile and I do the 2:30:1 ratio, what should my pace be for the 2:30 than I'm running and and 1 min that I'm walking? I tend to over-think everything and make them more complicated than they need to be.
