The Clinic? what is this?0
-
It's a movie. Stars Tabreth Bethell and Andy Whitfield.0

Andy Whitfield - such great potential
Have you seen In my Skin - a friend let me borrow that right after I had surgery - Haven't been able to watch it yet - creeps me out0 -
I have not. That the one with Antonio Banderas?0
-
No, this is a french film about a lady that is fascinated with the large cut on her leg0

OOOOOO I have seen both The Clinic and In My Skin and I really enjoyed both. But it is funny cause neither went in the direction I thought they would. I thought I was going to be really creeped out with In My Skin but I wasn't. But on a familiar name In Her Skin disturbed/fascinated me, not a horror movie but a true story based on a murder and it really is extremely awesome.0

I finished The Clinic, I have to say, the twist ending disappointed me. I thought it was unnecessary.0

got in Hannibal Rising (slow, but not bad, they boy that plays Hannibal was creepy), Clay Pigeons (weird) and went and saw the new Silent Hill (my friend said the first was better - will have to see it)0

Is Clay Pigeons the one with Janeane Garofalo and Vince Vaughn? I had a hard time buying his psycho act.
Watched most of Trick 'r Treat after I got back home with the kids. Only had 15 min left, but I was sleeeepy and had to wake up early to take my father-in-law to the airport this morning.
I didn't think the first Silent Hill was all that great. If the bad guys have so much power that they can change your surroundings at will, then you're obviously completely outmatched.0 -

yep - that's the one - Vince vaughn was just funny as hell - as a comedy it worked, if it wasn't suppose to be a comedy - well, that's a completely different story.
I didn't know any backstory on Silent Hill, never played the game, didn't see the first. The main girl character was not great, and just a weak overall story line - got a surprise in the movie with an unexpected actor showing up to play a part that made my day, but other than that - it was more of a renter than a theatre kind of movie0 -
Did you see it in 3D, I was thinking it would be pretty spooky if the 3D was done right. Maybe worth a theatre trip.0
-
yes I did - and the only really cool 3D effect was the ash fall, other than that - is ok - not really a lot of 3D effect - at least I didn't think so - I'm a firm believer in if you are doing 3D **** - pack it with 3D action, not just use 3D for a couple of campy shots, but that's just me0
-
I agree. Avatar did a great job with 3D, and it's the first movie I think of when I think of a good 3D movie.0
-
yep, I honestly think A Very Harold and Kumar Xmas had more 3D than Silent Hill0

I have to say the original Halloween, Pet Sematary 1 & 2, Christine (cheesy but I love it), Poltergeist, Children of the Corn.
I actually watched Halloween when I was in labor at the hospital last year, my daughter was born Halloween night.0
