Today is day 12 of Cycle 2 for me. I am not doing as well with cycle 2. I had a lot of stuff going on last week that through me off but I am still losing...just not as fast as I'd like. Should I start over with cycle 1 or can I prolong cycle 2 by a week? any ideas?

Ok so I had this nice longer post typed up, hit the wrong key(s) and poof it was gone. Anyway, on C2D7 and doing ok. Started Geocaching with the hubby on Saturday and I'm hooked....hopefully this will make exercise more fun. If you don't know about Geocaching check it out at www.geocaching.com Great activity for kids and adults!0

Yeah, just keep following the cycles through unless you stop for 2 weeks or gain 5 lbs.0

Yikes! then maybe i am off. i did Cycle 1 in June, then took off most of July with VACATIon and all, but stayed within my calories and still lost. I am loosely following now, but was thinking of starting Cycle 1 again tomorrow. What do you think?0

cycle 1 is suppose to be a jumpstart for you diet but, like someone else said, if you are still losing probably best to stay on course. I'm sticking to cycle 2.0

How is everyone doing? I'm finding that in cycle 2 my cravings are actually a bit more intense, I am a bit nervous to add more carbs back in cycle 3 but we will see what happens. Has anyone experienced this? I do know that days I don't get all my water in are worse.0

I absoltely agree with you about the low water days being harder. I didn't do well with water at all today and really could have pig-ed out save for the fact that I was so tired!0

mycrazy, I agree, follow the cycles through and complete cycle 3. He has it planned that way to keep our metabolism going and if you stick with the first two cycles too long it can derail you
momof4, I think you could start over. If you haven't been following low calorie, I think restarting from the beginning is not a bad idea. I did that last month when I totally fell off the wagon for 2-3 weeks and was not eating healthy at all.
I'm on day 17 of cycle one today and pretty happy that I've stuck with it. Two nsv for me this month were not having doughnuts at work the past 2 sundays. Every Sun one of the docs at my hospital brings the most delicious doughnuts, fritters, turnovers etc and I have the hardest time saying no. Last week I pretended they just weren't there and this week I just told myself you aren't having that. I'm down 6 lbs from the start of cycle one and about 7-10 lbs from my goal weight. I'm starting a Turbofire challenge today, it's a 90 day program so I'm hoping more than anything that I get toned up and more fit and as a result I know if I stick with this diet I will lose the weight I want to. I just really want to get the the mental place where I keep it off instead of backsliding once I reach my goal and feel "safe"0
