Wii Balance Board: Yoga

I have recently started running again, training for a 5k in October.. and a Half Marathon in February 2013.

I know that you must stretch your muscles for lean muscles, strong and flexible. I really love my Wii balance board so I think I am going to start incorporating Wii Yoga into my workout routine.

I run pretty much everyday, but I should add some yoga to make the muscles I'm building more lean.

What do you think? Do you think the yoga would help stretch me out and make me stronger?

One problem~ It takes so long and its so slow I get bored!! lol

I do a combo of Yoga, Pilates and Stretching using the Wii game Exerbeat. I did the yoga excerices from the Wii Fit game but they were really boring. I love Exerbeat! Maybe you should try it, cause I believe Yoga truly does well for your body. It doesn't just stretch your muscles it also improves your posture and makes you more aware of your body.

Exerbeat is a great game it also has boxing and karate and dancing on so you can mix some of those games in too so you don't get bored with all slow exercises. As you unlock more they get longer too so get routines nearly up to an hour long.

I only paid £9.99 for mine on Amazon Marketplace.

I got a new one to try called New U personal trainer and that has variety of pilates and other stuff with challenges and recipies, it will find them for any diet like if you tell it your vegetarian or need to be gluten free or have nut allergy and it will find meals for you that are meat free, nut free or gluten free too.

I prefer Pilates to Yoga as it has a few more quicker exercises like 'the hundred' which is on Exerbeat and it focuses on strengthening your core which will improve your performance in any other sport you do then like running.
