Should I keep going?

Hi all,
Wondering if you could help me.
I have been training for my second HM since March. The event is on late September. I do three runs a week currently - one a 10-11km, one an interval (8 x 300m sprints) and one long run on the weekend (currently 18km).
Two weeks ago when I did the 18km run I rolled my ankle a bit. Given I was quite far away from home (I was at about the 8km mark), I had to keep going. I felt OK towards the end by my left knee started to hurt a little bit.
Then last week I kept going with me medium and long runs (but I consciously slowed down as I didn't want to aggravate it), but swapped the interval run for a session on the bike for relieve the knee pain a little bit. The knee pain continued, but didn't increase but I do feel the twinge when I walk.
The question now is should I keep going with the training and hope that it naturally sorts itself out? or do I give it a full rest of a week or so and then attempt to pick up the running again? I am terrified that if I do that I am going to lose this tenuous bit of running fitness I have at the moment.
Any advice appreciated!
Cheers

I would keep monitoring that knee pain as you continue on with your training. Soemtimes when you roll an ankle what happens is that you alter your stride to compensate and then other areas of your body could have troubles. Are you running any differently since you rolled that ankle ?
Send me a message if you have more questions and I hope this helps

hmm that's an interesting question.
I have gone slower as a precaution, but otherwise not really any different.
Will keep monitoring and see what's happening... I would love to go to a physio to get it checked out but time pressures with part time work and two little ones at home means its very unlikely to happen..
Thanks a lot for your advice Saka!0
