Flexibility?

Anyone else realizing they're completely not flexible and feeling like the stretching before/after the 30 Day Shred workout isn't enough? I know at one point in my life, I could touch my toes...but apparently that is no longer the case
I just ordered a stretching DVD off Amazon (Gaiam AM & PM stretch) but was wondering about other people's experiences with this and am very open to some exercises or other DVDs that you all have found helpful. I'll probably start doing the PM stretches but highly doubt I'll be dragging my butt outta bed for the AM ones during the week.

I got a few suggestions on my news feed, wall, whatever you want to call it so I figured if anyone sees this and is not friends with me, I'd update here.
Yoga Mind & Body with Ali Macgraw was recommended if you can find it (it's pricy for the DVD online but VHS is cheap and some libraries might have it)
If you have Netflix, Candlelight Yoga is available on streaming. It's kinda cheesy but it works. It's about 45min of relaxing stretching and works really well for beginners (me) or those seriously lacking flexibility (also me)
I bought Gaiam AM & PM stretching on Amazon for about $12 so once I get that, I'll try it out. It was suggested on some other threads on MFP0 -
I, too, am not very flexible. I am trying to work on this. I know that I used to be very, very flexible (over 14 years of gymnastics and ballet will do that), but getting older and inactivity will also take that away.
I try to stretch at night, between my turn when I'm playing board games with DD, or watching tv or whatever. I've found it actually makes my muscles feel good, and really helps when I'm sore.
I've also gotten a thing called "The Stick." It's a self massager, kind of similar idea to a foam roller? Anyway, I got it before my first half marathon, and when I was done, I was SO glad I had that roller!!! It helped roll the sore muscles, but I noticed that my shoulders got more flexible by me using it to do my back. ???0
