We don't call them hot flashes when they are more like power surges, right? Mama (rest her soul) never warned me about the bursitis, insomnia, constipation, diabetes, belly weight and migraines I would get at menopause. That doesn't count the whooping case of C.R.S. (can't remember stuff).
I could use some help with the weight loss stuff. I'm seeing a nutritionist. She's smart, and she's sweet, but she's young and clueless about the menopause stuff. An MFP friend who's actually vocal and supportive wouldn't hurt...

Oh please say you've got the magic pill for these hot flashes! And to boot my DH has our wood stove blaring. Thank goodness for my ceiling fans! I can't stand it!!0
