If so, what type of self-help books are you into? Feel free to recommend some to me
I love self-help books on various topics like health & fitness, finances, inner beauty, success, etc.

I just finished the book entitled "168 Hours". It was about using our time in a different way. I enjoyed it. I am starting "The Element" it is about finding your passion.0

I *love* my self help books...I go to the library and then if I like the book...I will order it. Lately..I've been working on my procrastination :blushing:
I am reading a book (which I will order from Amazon to keep) called "Still Procrastinating?" It is a great book that has NO NONSENSE advice...
Thanks for everyone's suggestions...it helps me, too!!

I guess this is sort of a very specific for of self help book, but one of the best books I ever read is "How I Stayed Alive When my Brain was Trying to Kill Me" by Blauner. To me, it's the best book out there as far as struggling with suicidal thoughts goes. Not just for the people living with those thoughts, but also for people who know someone who struggles. It's truly a life saver.0

I liked 'HELP!: How to Become Slightly Happier and Get a Bit More Done', by Oliver Burkeman. It did a great job of summarising the main message of a lot of famous self-help books, and also looked at the research behind the various theories, and talked about which had some truth behind them and which had been disproved.0
