It's been about 6 weeks since I have been traipsing through the woods. This working 2 jobs thing is really getting in the way of my fun. Hopefully i will be able to get out soon.

Is anyone else missing out on hiking?

    I was hiking at least 2x a week this spring/early summer. I haven been in about a month now due to heat and scheduling..and its killing me!! Im planning a 10mi trip this weekend and hope nothing happens to ruin it. Im jonsing!

    I'm glad I have summers off (teacher), and I have been trying to get out and hike or bike more. I feel like I have done all the worthy hikes in a 30 mile radius of my house now! I went to a new one a couple days ago and the trails were overgrown and damn was it buggy and humid! I didn't hike nearly as long as I had planned to. I guess I should stick to old favorites.
