Any atkins/low carbers here?

I was a swimmer LONG before I was a low carber(about 7 weeks now.) I've found that I dont have a lot of energy reserve for any long distance swims...even my pre-atkins workouts are a struggle now. Anyone else low carbing and swimming and have any tips?

    Yes... I do a low carbon diet and am very physically active.

    Before a Swim or run or bike I find that I MUST fuel before hand with a whole grain carb. If I don't I will have a low blood sugar attack and get ill. Or not work out strong and efficient which really gets me upset.

    Right now I am into a Sprouted Whole Grain bread. One piece before workouts. Sometimes two. Rest of day is low carb.

    Lol - I guess a low Carbon diet would be one where you burn no energy! So a low Carbon diet would not be good eh! - lol
