My 9 year old won her sparring division

because she was the only one in her division!
She didn't place in forms but she was the ONLY 8-9 year old girl that had the guts to show up for sparring, and even agreed to spar a girl a level higher than her just so she could say she did it and get her medal, and THAT, I told her, is something to be proud of. There were a lot of schools represented there.

Congratulations to her. That's great that she was willing to have a go at sparring, and competed against a higher level just to have a go. I hope she is very proud of herself 0
