How is everyone today?

I'ts been a very busy weekend and I did some scale damage . I went to the Wisconsin State Fair and all I got was a friggen blister on my heel and 7 pounds of water weight! Well....I am assuming it is water. I did have my cream puff and my Gyro. eh, it is just not worth the way I am feeling right now. Bloated and well.....bloated. I guess it was an experiment for me. I have been eating very healthy, much more than I had been in recent months, and I feel a huge difference if I eat grease and sugar/salt. I had thought that I would treat myself and indulge this weekend at the fair. Yes, the cream puff was really good. But really, how I am feeling right now, sluggish and all is not worth the cream puff. I went to a local fair on Saturday too. I walked past all the deep fried whatevers and was a little irritated that there was NO healthy food for a person to eat. I was soooo hungry. I should have eaten before I left home. I am still learning. But the fact that I even thought about that makes me happy. I ended up with a hot dog. I thought that would be the best option available. haha
So today, I am recovering. Trying to counter the dehydration, by drinking lots of water. Water at the fair was 3.00 a bottle! I brought a bottle of frozen water from home. It took all day to thaw ! and the amount of water I got with each sip was ridiculous!
I am not sure how I will be able to do Zumba with this blister on my heel! Next year......I will stay away from the State Fair. I will treat myself in a different way. Something that doesnt make me feel so miserable. Hmmmm a massage! Thats it! Have a great day! Linda

    Linda, State Fairs are notorious for their unhealthy food selections, you could have done a lot worse than a hot dog. If you put antibiotic cream and a band aid and then two pairs of socks you might be able to handle Zumba.
    I just walked back from the courthouse (in my NSV consignment shop new suit) and I feel like I am melting. The humidity must be 98%!
    I didn't get enough fruits and veggies last week, so that is my plan/goal for this week
    HATTERS WHAT IS YOUR PLAN/GOAL FOR THE WEEK? not a scale goal but an action plan! Sometimes we can't control all of the factors that rule the scale on one particular day, but we do control our healthy choices.
