We are currently in possession of three smokers and one grill.... *sigh*
Sean got one smoker when his buddy upgraded his. Then his parents bought him a new one for his birthday. AND THEN his buddy gifted Sean an electric smoker because Sean does all kinds of computer repair work for him all the time.
At least we know we could rock out a sh|tload of meat if we needed to...

Cliff, you can get little barrel smokers for super cheap if you want to just dive in!! (If you were in Denver I'd tell you to come pick up one of ours....)
That's how we got started .. Sean got one, we did a little googling, and just dove in head first.0 -
Awesome idea for a group!
I currently have a 22" Weber which I am madly in love with.
A Masterbuilt electric smoker which I've only used a few times so far.
And an old klunker gas grill which used to be my only grill, but is now useful for as an auxiliary grill.
I feel like I am in BBQ nirvana at the moment!0 -
Thanks kortney. I will do this. First tho i gonna start with Taso's suggestion from other thread.
Oh i love the Weber i have as well. The book i have teaches all about grilling and bbqing.0 -
57cm Weber Kettle.....and a standard box grill. I'm thinking about getting an extender (like this one - http://grillbutikken.dk/product.php?id_product=10) for the Weber.0

I am seriously ashamed to admit that I don't have ANYTHING right now. I live in an apartment building in a town with grill restrictions on apartment decks/balconies. I agree with the restrictions, really, because I don't want some jackhole burning down my place because it turns out that they don't actually know how to operate a grill (or drunk logic has set in and the answer to everything is MOAR LIGHTER FLUID). At our last apartment we had a big square charcoal jobbie, and a reasonable front porch/lawn to use it on, and it worked great. It is possible to grill somewhere out in the parking lot at our current place, but even then there's not much space to do so and trees are directly overhead. But my setbacks don't stop me from eating meat, so at least there's that.0

Ah that reminds me of this thing http://www.kettlepizza.com/
I want one! But they seem too expensive for what they are so we may try to make one. Looks easy enough.0
