Hi all,
I made some low carb cheesecake last night and put it in the fridge. I tasted it this morning and it was awful! way too sweet. I couldn't even taste the cream cheese. my question to you guys is how much sugar substitute am I supposed to use? Do I use half as much as the recipe calls for? I think if it wouldn't have been so sweet tasting (along with the substitute aftertaste), it would have been alright or at least edible.
help please, I would like to try to make it again, to satisfy sweet cravings. in case you're wondering, i used truvia and a lil splenda brown sugar

if the recipe calls for 1c of sugar, i'd use 1/4

but i'd always taste it before i cooked it.

i made almond flour cookies thatwere way way way way too sweet.. i should have use 1/8 instead i think.
so really trial and error.. but most sugar subs are a lot sweeter than sugar. there is a conversion of the sweetness online, but most people that do low carb are so sensitive to sweet things after not having sugar so you can really reduce it a lot.

    i use truvia.
