HELP ME!!

I upped my calories 4-5 weeks ago to 1500 lost a couple of pounds and am now stalling again. Just don't know for sure how many calories I should be eating. I have recently started th couch to 5k program, so am run/walking 3-4 times a week for about 40 minutes then I am doing the 30 day shred 3-4 times a week. Not sure how much exercise this qualifies as??? I have been counting myself as lightly active...

I am female
160 lbs
65 inches tall
39 years old

Please help me with my calories....

Thanks in advance,
Jenny

Definitely NOT lightly active - try moderately active for now and see how that goes...
Scooby shows a 15% cut as 1932, TDEE at 2273 and BMR 1466...
I do Chalene Xtreme (the weights part 3x per week and run 3 times per week (one 90 minute and two 35-40 mins) and won't survive on 1500 at all.....

You are definitely at the moderate level for activity. I would definitely bump up to your true cut of 1932....and actually what I would really do is do a diet break for 2 weeks or even a reset for 6-8 weeks just to give your body a break. Then go down to your cut of 1932.

I wanted to add that I just got a fitbit about 3 weeks ago and even with the 30DS and the running, the fitbit has me as lightly active...

Your stats are nearly identical to mine, I'm 65", 39 years old, 155lbs BUT I don't do as much activity as you and I'm considered mod active.

I do NROLFW 3 times a week- that's it. My calorie goal is around 1900 with 15% cut but according to my body media fit I burned a bit more so I upped to 1950 a day. My bmr with BMF averaged around 2300. You definitely aren't eating enough.

I would also say you are not lightly active.. as for the Fitbit whats the total calories it says you burn per day (or you can take the average for your week)?

Fitbit adjustment says anywhere from 300-500 a day.

I meant total burned for the day, you can get it on their website.. also every week Fitbit should be emailing you your weekly numbers, you can get your calories burned from there as well.

Calorie burn for the day averages 2100-2300.

Not sure how the fitbit measures, but if it's not according to your heart rate, I would not worry too much about what it says... Try eating at the full cut for a few weeks and see what happens.....

I would actually go with an average between your fitbit and scooby.

Average between 2100 and 2300 = 2200 Scooby says 2273 - so go with 2200 for reset and then minus 15%.....
