I am new to tops and love the support. I have been doing my fitnesspal.com for a week and relise I need to pay closer attention to myeating amounts and choices. I love this tool it helping me get a grip . .. being positive instead of kicking my self! today I get to make better chioces.

Welcome to TOPS and to MFP! I'm relatively new to both too! Joined TOPS the end of May and heard about MFP from one of the members. I agree, MFP is a great tool for keeping track. I was really impressed with the food database!

I get mad that I haven't reached goal yet, but I know I have to be grateful that I have accountability and support with TOPS. I'm busy during my meeting this week, so I may visit my old group on a different day. If not, I'll think to myself that I have several more days to eat extra and lose it before the meeting in 2 weeks. So I should probably just go.0

Hi I am just now figuring out this message board. I love the positive messages. you are doing great. being positive is important. I have started to pick up the phone and talk with other tops members and that is helpful. It keeps me honest about what I may need to change. Thats a choice I have, and its a way to take back the control I have given away. Have a great day.0

Our group is currently doing a challenge and one of the things you can do to earn points is contacting/encouraging other members. I've found this is a great way to get the ball rolling for contacting others. Hopefully, the encouragement will continue after the challenge has ended!

I've found the logging every bite really helps. I not only log it in here, but I hand write it in a journal to..............what I'm eating, and how I'm feeling too.0
