What to tell your doctor

Not sure if this will help but, I was obese and needed to lose weight. I am the type that likes to get it done right now, no one pound a week for me. So I went on the Cabbage soup Diet for 4 weeks in a row and lost about 24 pounds. I wanted to take in more protein than the diet offered so I started the Scarsdale Diet.. Now I break alot of rules, a. I did not consult a doctor as I have no health insurance. b. The Cabbage Soup Diet says to do it on onw week, off the next week. I did it 4 weeks in a row. c. The Scarsdale diet says no exercise? I did not read that any where. I walk a minimum of one hour a day. It says to do the diet for two weeks then go on the maintenence diet for two weeks. I am on week two and have lost an additional 12 pounds so far. I would say if it feels right do it. Your body knows more than a doctor. In my opinion, exercise does not hurt, it is a neccesity ifr you want to lose weight and keep it off.

Hope this helps, and good luck to you.
