Anyone read the book Fat to Skinny?

It's written by Doug Varrieur who has struggled with his weight all his life. The book basically helps you learn how to eat low carb. He suggests you eat 20g a day until you lose all your weight. And then gradually learn how to add slowly until you hit your sweet spot. He stresses that this is a way of life and that it works because he shows you how to replace the foods you love. Tons of great sugar free recipes too. They also have a very supportive forum.
I like it much better that Atkins. It's not as restrictive. You can eat low carb foods, like lavash, berries, as long as you stay at or under 20 grams.

I would be interested in reading this. I have to do LC due to health issues and I feel much better but sometimes I dont know what I should keep on the menu and what I should leave behind.
You can eat all that stuff on Atkins too - just not during the first two weeks of induction.0 -
I'm pretty sure you can't eat bread on Atkins until at least Phase 3, but I could be wrong. But I've done induction and Phase II and there was no bread or fruit.
Check out the book, love it.0 -
i do modified atkins induction, which sounds exactly like this diet plan.
i eat what i want as long as i'm below 20 (or 30, depends on veggies)
i don't need a book to tell me things i already know though0
