Has anyone noticed that foods taste different after having gastric bypass surgery? I think ketchup is now one of the natiest tasting things ever. Actually, anything with a tomato base to it has a wierd taste. Am i going nuts or has anyone else noticed this about foods too?

I had my surgery in May and I noticed right off that not only my taste but some food smells were also affected. Tomato based were high on the list but in the last few weeks are at least starting to taste good if not the same.

My taste changed also. Things are hyper sweet to me now...almost sickening sometimes. And greasy foods are super nasty to me now.
