Just thought id say hello!
Injured my knee back in April and was not too sure on the outcome till having an MRI scan. Severed my ACL. Joined MFP back in june and wanted to lose some weight before surgery, i lost about 10lbs in a month and half on a strict calorie diet.
Now ive had the surgery about 4 weeks ago, to repair the ligament using tendons from my hamstring. Been hobbling about on crutches, doing very light walking, physio.
Trying to get down to 95kg. Currently at 105.5kg and used to weigh 112 kg.
Think it has slowed down a bit at the moment. But i am hoping with some gradual improvement of my knee (4-5 months) , exercise and calorie counting should bring the weight down!
What other exercise can i do which isnt too intensive on my knee at the moment?
Ive brought a float for swimming to go between my legs , so i can still use my arms to swim. So may try that!

Anything non-impact like bike riding, elliptical, swimming, etc. till you can start working on strengthening the muscles around the knee with leg-lifts, mini-mini-squats, slow walking, etc. Good luck!!0
