new to the group

Hi, I am a 5' 4" 52 year old female who went from weighing 185 in Aug 2003 down to 130 by June of 2004. Granted, I've been yo-yoing ever since with my weight getting back up to 148 at one point and a low of 123 a month or so ago. Currently, I weigh right around 127/128. My biggest challenge is trying to figure out the right amount for daily caloric intake should be for me to basically maintain my weight with just a minimum adjustment to get down to 125.
The other issue that I have is that I have that dreaded pouch in my lower abdomen that I can't get rid of no matter what. I'm to the point that Surgery is going to be the only solution to remove it. Any suggestions.
