has anyone had RNY surgery that is on 24 hour oxygen?

I am on 24 hour oxygen due to pulmonary hypertension. I was told if I lost weight I may be able to stop oxygen use. Has anyone had the surgery that is on oxygen? I also have sleep apnea but have never been able to use the c-pap or bi-pap because I am extremely claustrophobic and have even pulled the mask off in my sleep (I had taped it to my face after the first times). I am terrified to be put under because of my claustrophobia and breathing issues. Any response is appreciated.

    I had the LapBand surgery June 28th. As of today I am off my supplemental oxygen to my Cpap My goal is to be off the cpap in November

    Being put under is the easy part for me. It is after that is tough. Good luck.
