Anybody else feeling it in their quads? The worst is going up stairs. Whats funny though is trying to go to the bathroom, slightly bending to get to the seat and then having the plop the rest of the way cause my quads hurt terribly. lol.

I am really feeling it in my shins and my calves! I hope that's not a bad thing and I am injuring them some how. I know I am doing the workout forms right, but jeez, had to use Tiger Balm and a hot pad on them to get to sleep last night.

I am also feeling it in my shins! I don't know if that is a bad thing? I do know that it becomes less and less painful the more I stick to it which is good...

i used to get shin splints when i was playing rugby, found a good stretch that really reduced injury. if you stand on the edge of the stairs(or any raised platform) with your heels hanging off the edge alternate between standing on your tip toes and forcing your heels down as far as you can off the edge. so your body is going up and down. it strengthens the muscle in front of your shins. worked wonders for me!

Thank you so much! I am going to do that from now on. I had shin splints from running on the treadmill when I was in high school, and I don't want it again! Hmmm, maybe I'm leaning forward a little during the leg workouts when you are bending a lot, because my quads haven't been very sore.

    you're welcome!

One of the reasons I was never a big fan of at home DVDs, was that we don't have an instructor coming around telling us if we're doing something wrong. So leaning forward and hurting our shins or too far back and hurting our quads, we could really be doing some damage and not aware of it at all. I guess all we can do is stretch, stretch, stretch! I do a bunch of extra stretching after each day. We'll get through it!
